1. Length of supraoccipital spine (53): (1> 0) extends posteriorly to, at least, middle length of neural complex of Weberian apparatus. Paralleled in node 207 and in Parecbasis cyclolepis .

2. Process of scapula forming anterior border of scapular foramen (244): (0> 1) absent. Paralleled in nodes 193 and 252 and in Aphyodite grammica, Deuterodon langei, Hoplias cf. malabaricus, Hyphessobrycon herbertaxelrodi, Leporinus striatus, and Thayeria obliqua.
