Material examined: China: Guangdong: Chebaling Nature Reserve. 6 males, 9 females, 365 m, 25.VII.2008 . Mei-Ying Lin leg. (IZ-CAS); Chebaling Nature Reserve, Xianrendong, 1 female, 500 m, 23.VII.2008. Zhuo Yang leg. (IZ-CAS); Danxia Shan, 1 female, 86 m, 28.VII.2008 . Zhuo Yang leg. (IZ-CAS); Shixing County, Chebaling, 1 male, 365 m, 27.VII.2008 . Hong-Bin Liang leg. (IZ-CAS); Hunan: Guidong County, Bamian Shan, 1 female, 1399 m, 11.VII.2008 . Mei-Ying Lin leg. (IZ-CAS).

Remarks: We firstly found this species in Guangdong and Hunan. This species resembles S. zhangyejunianus Lv et Zhou, sp. nov in most aspects, but can be distinguished from the former by larger elytra spot, punctures of elytra less confluent and aedeagus (Figs. 15A & 16A) robust.
