Habitat in China. D. D. Abrah. Baeck. S. R. M:tis. Sueciae medicus ordinarius, Amicus noster vere sincerus, e cujus horto sicco plurimas rariores stirpes obtinuimus, etiam hanc primus nobiscum communicavit.

Frutex habitu abrotani, ramis virgatis: Ramulis oppositis, brevibus, simplicibus. Folia opposita, linearia, acuta, glabra, integerrima. Flores axillares, solitarii, pedunculo nudo longitudine floris, foliis longe breviore. Perianthium infundibuliforme, quinquedentatum. Petala 359 Z4 5, subrotunda, patula, calyci inserta. Filamenta 8, quorum 6 paria, & 2 solitaria, brevissima, inflexa. Antherae subovatae, parvae. Germen subrotundum. Stylus filiformis, corolla brevior. Stigma capitatum. Chinensibus Tjongina. Osbeck.
