MEXICO: Veracruz, Huatusco; 27 June 2020, 1143 CDT; G. U. Tejada Sartorius. Host: Cupiennius salei Keyserling ( Trechaleidae ), adult or subadult male. The wasp pursued the potential host spider on the ground through dense undergrowth ( Tejada Sartorius 2020).
Five of six host records for H. toussainti from Costa Rica and Mexico are for species of Ctenidae or Trechaleidae , including Cupiennius ( Kurczewski et al. 2020) . There is one other record of Cupiennius salei from Pueblo, Mexico ( Kurczewski et al. 2020).
