Panoquina confusa O. Mielke, 1968 View in CoL confirmed as a junior subjective synonym of Panoquina trix Evans, 1955

Panoquina confusa O. Mielke, 1968 View in CoL (type locality in Brazil: Minas Gerais) has been placed as a junior subjective synonym of Panoquina trix Evans, 1955 View in CoL (type locality in Brazil: Mato Grosso) by Mielke (2004). Genomic sequencing of the holotype of P. confusa View in CoL ( Fig. 10 View FIGURE 10 magena) reveals that in both nuclear and mitochondrial genome trees it is located among specimens of P. trix View in CoL ( Fig. 10 View FIGURE 10 cyan) including topotypes, thus confirming this synonymy.
