R e m a r k s. Revision of the genus Myopites Blot (Korneyev et al., in prep.) has shown that M. blotii (also sometimes reported as M. inulaedyssentericae Blot ) associated with Pulicaria dysenterica in Western to Southern Europe and the Near East and M. inulae associated with Pentanema ensifolium, Pe. hirtum , and Pe. salicinum are different species. They were hitherto confused in most catalogues, keys and revisions of Palaearctic Tephritidae . Synonymy will be explained and justified in the forthcoming revision (Korneyev et al., in prep.).
