G e n e r a l d i s t r i b u t i o n: Transcaucasia, Turkey, Europe (from southern Russia in the east to France in the west, and from Estonia and Central Europe in the north to Italy and the Balkan Peninsula in the south and southeast).
D i s t r i b u t i o n i n M i d d l e E a s t: So far only known from Turkey ( BODEMEYER 1900: 105, JAEGER 1992: 225, 1999: 959).
The species can be recorded from three additional Turkish provinces.
