Material examined. Petro-UFS—9 (1 M, 3 F); size range: 12.31 ≤ CL ≤ 15.24 mm; average: CL = 13.21 ± 1.38 mm; CZUFS CRU- 00021. Penaeid—32 (12 M, 20 F); size range: 8.94 ≤ CL ≤ 18.03 mm; average: CL = 13.74 ± 2.08 mm; CZUFS CRU- 00340.
Stations. Petro-UFS—2, 3, 7, and 11; Penaeid—3, 4, 5, 6, 8, and 9.
Distribution. Western Atlantic—From North Carolina ( USA) to Brazil (from Amapá to Rio Grande do Sul) ( D’Incao 1995; D’Incao 1998; Costa et al. 2003).
Ecological notes. From shallow waters to 100 m ( Costa et al. 2003). On mud, sand, shells, and algae bottoms ( D’Incao 1995).
