Subgenus Sonotrella Gorochov, 1988 View Treatment

Type species: Sonotrella mekongica Gorochov, 1988

Notes. Within this genus, the size of body from medium to slightly larger. Subgeneric characters shown in the key above were diagonosed by Gorochov (2002). In our recent study, one additional species from central Laos is added. The total number of species of this subgenus is increased from 8 to 9. All species are distributed in the Southeast Asia and China (Map 1).

Distribution. Laos, Burma, Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, China.
