Type material

Holotype. ɗ El Banno; 3.V.1939; Miss E. Zavattari; Sagan Omo A. O.I. ( ZMA)

Description

Length: 7 mm (1 specimen)

Head including eyes more or less as broad as apex of pronotum; green; surface rugose; with white pubescence; antennae brown, lower surface entirely reddish, club dark.

Pronotum slightly longer than broad (length:width ratio 1.09); lateral margin parallel, constricted towards base; densely punctate; green; with white pubescence.

Elytral ground color orange to red, reduced to three spots; the large spot on the shoul­ der includes a small black humeral spot; the orange to red fascia in the middle and the apical spot not reaching the suture.

Elytra greenish to dark bluish towards margin; almost three times as long as broad (length:width ratio 2.78); punctures small, in irregular rows; apex bevelled; with white pubescence.

Legs green­blue; tibiae slightly curved; with long, white pubescence.

Ventral surface green­blue; with long, white hairs; abdomen with sparse pubescence.
