Distribution. South Europe—Spain, France ( Warncke 1992), Switzerland ( Amiet et al. 1999), Algeria. Biology. Poorly known species of open warm habitats with unknown host. The biology is probably similar to S. alternatus and hosts can be expected within the medium sized species of Halictus .
