Other material examined. HAITI. La Boule (18°29’36”N; 72°18’47”), 1♂, 1♀, 1imm., 11.XI.1959, A.M. Nadler col. ( AMNH) .
Etymology. The noun in apposition refers to the type locality.
Diagnosis. Males of Thaloe leboulet n. sp. resembles T. maricao n. sp. and T. tricuspis (see Brescovit, 1993, fig. 7) by the palpal patella having three distal projections, but differ by the retrolateral patellar apophysis finger shaped, dorsal patellar apophysis bifid ( Figs 3 View FIGURE 3 C–F, 4D–F) and basal retrolateral tibial apophysis large and conic ( Figs 3 View FIGURE 3 D–F, 4D, E). Females are readily recognizable by the epigynal borders short and dentate at tip, with small atrium and reniform spermathecae ( Fig. 3G, H View FIGURE 3 )
Description. Male (Holotype, AMNH). Carapace orange. Legs orange yellow. Abdomen dorsally cream with sparse dorsal green gray chevrons and two gray spots medially disposed, ventrally cream ( Fig. 3A View FIGURE 3 ). Total length 5.5, carapace length 2.4, width 1.9.
