Specimens examined. 5 ♀, emerged on 2 May 1957 from seeds of Tsuga diversifolia View in CoL collected by K. Kamijo from Shiga Plateau, Nagano, Japan ( HUM) ; 1 ♀ and 1 ♂, emerged on 4 May 1957 from seeds of Tsuga diversifolia View in CoL collected by K. Kamijo from Shiga Plateau, Nagano, Japan ( HUM) ; 1 ♀, emerged on 10 April 1957 from a seed of Tsuga diversifolia View in CoL collected by K. Kamijo from Shiga Plateau, Nagano, Japan ( HUM) .

Distribution. Japan (Honshu).

Host information. This species was reared from seeds of Tsuga sieboldii Carrière and T. diversifolia (Maxim.) Mast. (Pinaceae) .
