Type:— Turkey. A3 Bolu, Abant Gölü , 17 July 1940, B.D. Post s.n. (holo: G!; iso: E!) .

Phenology: ―Flowering between May and August.

Distribution and ecology ―Endemic to Turkey (North & Central Anatolia). Irano-Turanian element. Rocky igneous slopes, screes, steppe, 800–2200 m.

Conservation status: ―LC ( IUCN 2017). It is widely distributed in northern and central Anatolia, and currently it is not threatened.
