MATERIAL EXAMINED. Russia: Kunashir Island, southwestern shore of Goryachee

Lake, 45°52 ' 22 " N / 145°29 ' 11 " E, 14–17.VII 2015, 1♂, leg. Yu. Sundukov & L. Sundukova

(in coll. of A. Miroshnikov). Japan: Nagano, Kiriake, Akiyama , 20–22.VII 1996, 2♂, 2♀ ,

leg. Shinji Nagai (in coll. of A. Miroshnikov ex coll. of N. Ohbayashi); Tochigi, Yumoto ,

1.VIII 1960, 1♂, leg. H. Yokoyama (in coll. of A. Miroshnikov); Gunma Pref., Oku-Nikko ,

8.VIII 1980, 2♂, 2♀, leg. K. Nagashima (in coll. of S. Murzin).

MEASUREMENTS. Male from Kunashir: body length 15 mm, humeral width 3.5 mm.

DISTRIBUTION. Russia: Kunashir Island (new record), Japan (Aurivillius, 1912;

Winkler, 1929; Plavilstshikov, 1932; Matsushita, 1933; Mitono, 1940; Plavilstshikov, 1940;

Kusama & Takakuwa, 1984; Hayashi & Villiers, 1985; Ohbayashi, 1992; Ohbayashi &

Niisato, 2009).

NOTES. The records of Corennys sericata from China ( Gressitt, 1951; Hayashi &

Villiers, 1985; Hua, 1982; 2002; Löbl & Smetana, 2010) and South Korea (Löbl & Smetana,

2010) require confirmation, whereas those from Laos (Hua, 1984) must be referred to another species.
