Type species: Paronella (Callyntrura) anopla Börner, 1906 .

There are about one hundred species in the world. According to Yoshii (1982) and Yoshii & Suhardjono (1989), the genus Callyntrura may be divided into nine subgenera, seven of which are represented in Vietnam.
