Diagnosis. Frons concave anteriorly in dorsal view; ocellar seta small, smaller than postocellar seta; anterior orbital seta long and incurved apically; eye tapered ventrally; face slightly convex, ventral portion slightly protuberant; arista plumose, short hairs on ventroapical half; anepimeron with one to several short fine hairs above ( Malloch 1924; Shewell 1987).
