GUATEMALA • ♀; Quetzaltenango; SMF RII 1517 (examined).

Comment

Holovonones biangulatus is a species from southern Guatemala and adjacent part of the Mexican state of Chiapas. It is recognizable by the L-shaped stripes on the laterals of the abdominal scutum, contrasting with the thicker arches of H. bimaculatus and H. compressus . No male has been reported so far.
