3.2. Cosmophylla Brunner von Wattenwyl, 1878
This small group presents 10 species and six genera, with representants from the Neotropics, South American Transition Zone, Andean, Australian and Ethiopic regions. Only the genus Engonia was so far recorded, having three currently described species. Engonia is the only genus of Cosmophylla encountered in the neotropics and no species was known to occur in southern Brazil so far. Here we provide records for Engonia minor and for a possibly new species.
