Distribution: Ecuador.
Records in Ecuador: Galápagos (Islas: Bartolobé, Santa Cruz, San Cristobal, Isabela).
Habitat: Isla Bartolomé: mangroves near Pinnacle Rock; littoral zone; leaf litter, sand, mud and moss under Maytenus octogona , Batis maritima and Sesuvium edmonstonei . Isla Santa Cruz: divine’s Bay; littoral zone; algae from rocks and mangrove roots ( Rhizophora mangle ). Isla San Cristóbal: south of wreck Bay; littoral zone; decayed leaf litter from Sesuvium portulacastrum , Avicennia germinans and Laguncularia racemose . Isla Isabela: Punta García, north of Volcan Alcedo; arid zone; leaf litter and soil under Bursera graveolens , Cordia lutea and C. leucophlyctis .
