Distribution: Neotropical.

Records in Ecuador: Galápagos and Loja (andean mountain region of the Loja valley) .

Habitat: Transition and moist zone. Soil and litter of pine ( Pinus patula ), alder ( Alnus acuminata ) and degraded forest.
