Dundubia rufivena, Moulton, 1923: 84 View in CoL , “no doubt occurs in Southern Siam.”

Notes: We have found the first definitive record of the species in Thailand. It was presumed to inhabit Thailand previously ( Moulton, 1923), but no specimens had been identified from Thailand.

Material Examined: PSUC – Prince of Songkla University, Amphur Hat Yai, Songkhla Province, 07°00'N 100°30'E, 58 m; Trang Province; Nakhom Si Tammaret Province; Songkhla City, Songkhla Province.

Distribution: Malaysia, Indonesia, Borneo, Sarawak, New Guinea, Sabah, and the Philippine Republic (Metcalf, 1963a; Duffels and van der Laan, 1985), and Thailand.
