Distribution. World: Naples ( Costa 1853), South Africa ( Griffiths 1974), North Atlantic Ocean ( Bellan-Santini & Costello 2001), Bay of Biscay ( Bachelet et al. 2003), Mediterranean Sea ( Koukouras 2010), India ( Rabindranath 1975).
India: South India Ecoregion: Kerala ( Rabindranath 1975); Eastern India Ecoregion: Tamil Nadu ( Raja et al. 2013; Khan et al. 2017).
