Distribution. World: Sri Lanka ( Walker 1904), Mozambique ( Barnard 1955), India ( Nayar 1966).
India: Western India Ecoregion: Tamil Nadu ( Sivaprakasam 1966 as Lembos kergueleni ( Stebbing, 1888)) ;
South India Ecoregion: Bay of Bengal ( Surya Rao 1972 as Lembos kergueleni ( Stebbing, 1888)) ; Northern Bay of Bengal: Bay of Bengal ( Surya Rao 1972).
