Distribution.World: Belize ( Thomas 1997),Gulf of Mexico( Felder & Camp 2009), Caribbean Sea ( Miloslavich et al. 2010), Venezuela ( Miloslavich et al. 2010), India ( Sivaprakasam 1967a).

India: South India Ecoregion: Tamil Nadu ( Sivaprakasam 1967a as Leucothoides pottsi Shoemaker, 1933 ); Northern Bay of Bengal: Bay of Bengal ( Surya Rao 1972 as Leucothoides pottsi Shoemaker, 1933 ).
