Distribution. World: England (Spence Bate 1857), France ( Dauvin 1999), North Atlantic Ocean ( Bellan-Santini & Costello 2001), Bay of Biscay ( Bachelet et al. 2003), Greece ( Koukouras 2010), Ireland (Guiry & Guiry 2011), India ( Thilagavathi et al. 2013).
India: South India Ecoregion: Tamil Nadu ( Thilagavathi et al. 2013 as Metaphoxus pectinatus (Walker, 1896)) ; Eastern India Ecoregion: Tamil Nadu ( Thilagavathi et al. 2013 as Metaphoxus pectinatus (Walker, 1896)) .
