Chonocephalus leei View in CoL sp. nov.
( Figs 79–81 View FIGURES 79–81 )
The name refers to collector of the holotype, V. H. Lee .
Male. Length and greatest breadth of postpedicel subequal. Some details of the hypopygium are partly obscured by Lepidoptera scales. The left side of the epandrium as Fig. 79 View FIGURES 79–81 . The left gonopod is a short, thumblike, process with two fine hairs at its tip. There appears to be a larger right gonopod that is obscured by a couple of Lepidoptera scales. If this interpretation is correct then the structure shown in Fig. 81 View FIGURES 79–81 is the right lobe of the hypandrium and the smaller left lobe is obscured by the penis complex. The anterior process of the right side of the epandrium as Fig. 80 View FIGURES 79–81 . Wing 1.0– 1.1 mm long. Costal index 0.55–0.56. Vein 3 with a terminal vesicle which extends beyond tip of costa. All tibiae are brown.
Material. Holotype male, Colombia, Rio Raposo , light trap, 10 June 1964, V. H. Lee ( USNM).
