Note: Morel (1965a) believes that Ixodes arabukiensis is, most probably, a synonym of Ixodes djaronensis , and Camicas et al. (1998) support the synonymy proposed by Morel (1965a). Kolonin (2009) does not include Ixodes arabukiensis in his list of hard ticks of the world.
