1. Cosmiomma hippopotamensis ( Denny, 1843) .

An Afrotropical species whose adults have been found on Artiodactyla : Hippopotamidae , and Perissodactyla : Rhinocerotidae . There are no records of Cosmiomma hippopotamensis causing human parasitism.
