A Palearctic species whose adults and nymphs are usually found on Lagomorpha : Leporidae . All parasitic stages have been recovered from Lagomorpha : Leporidae ; adults and nymphs
have been taken from Carnivora : Canidae ; adult ticks alone have been collected from Mammalia (several orders). There are no records of Rhipicephalus leporis causing human parasitism.
