A Palearctic species, all of whose parasitic stages have been found on Mammalia (several orders), and Passeriformes : Corvidae ; adults alone have been collected from Accipitriformes : Accipitridae , Columbiformes : Columbidae , Galliformes : Phasianidae , Passeriformes : Alaudidae and Passeridae , and Anura : Ranidae ; nymphs and larvae have been recovered from Squamata : Lacertidae ; larvae alone have been found on Passeriformes : Paridae and Turdidae . Rhipicephalus rossicus is a sporadic parasite of humans.
