Diagnosis. Body with 21 leg-bearing segments. Spiracles oval-shaped ( Fig. 29C View FIGURE 29 ). Antennae with 21 antennomeres; first two and of the third glabrous ( Fig. 28 View FIGURE 28 ). Coxosternal plate with 4–5 teeth, lateral pair clearly isolated and fused to a varying degree ( Fig. 28D View FIGURE 28 ). Tergites 3–20 with 5–7 longitudinal sutures, without paramedian grooves; sternite with barely visible, incomplete, paramedian grooves ( Fig. 29 View FIGURE 29 A–B). Coxopleural process long, conical, with 2–3 very tiny apical spines, and 2–3 lateral spines ( Figs 29D View FIGURE 29 , 30A View FIGURE 30 ). Prefemur of ultimate legs with large spines arranged in rows ( Fig. 30 View FIGURE 30 B–C).
Previous records in Vietnam. HAI PHONG, QUANG BINH, DA NANG, GIA LAI, LAM DONG, DONG NAI ( Schileyko 1992, 1995, 2007; Attems 1938, 1953).
Distribution. Japan, China, Taiwan, Laos, Thailand, Myanmar, Indonesia, Malaysia, Hawaiian Islands, Russia ( Attems 1930, 1953; Lewis 2001; Chao & Chang 2003; Schileyko 2007).
Remarks. The species seems to be widely distributed in Vietnam ( Fig. 31 View FIGURE 31 ).
