Type locality. Madagascar .

New records: MADAGASCAR: Fianarantsoa Province, 7 km W Ranomafana , 900 m, black light in mountain rainforest near river and stream, 20–31.i.1990 [W.E. Steiner] - 1 male, 1 female ( NMNH); ditto, except Malaise trap in small clearing, mountain rainforest, 14–19.iii.1990 - 1 male ( NMNH) .

Remarks. The genitalia of these individuals were not so compressed sagittally, and the dorsal interlobular gap remains much wider compared to in the holotype.
