Type locality: Brazil, Santa Catarina, Seara, Nova Teutônia. Distr. – Neotropical: Brazil (Mato Grosso do Sul, São Paulo, Santa Catarina). Lectotype ♂, BMNH.

Condition of paralectotype: Undetermined wing, thorax, head and broken antenna on a permanent slide; abdomen and male terminalia in the microvial. Missing parts: undetermined antenna, undetermined fore leg and both mid and hind legs.
