A poorly known species, so far reported from Jamaica (type), Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Peru, French Guiana, and Brazil ( Gradstein 1997; Heinrichs et al. 1998; Holz et al. 2001), from Panama previously known from old collections from Chiriqui.
