Lectotype (Tamura & Lauener in Notes Roy. Bot. Gard. Edinburgh 37: 447. 1979): Herb. Linn. No. 695.4 ( LINN) .

Current name: Aconitum pyrenaicum L. View in CoL ( Ranunculaceae ).

Note: Tamura & Lauener, in typifying the name, suggested that it should be rejected and A. barbatum Pers. used in its place. However, no formal rejection proposal has been made.
