Type: “[Aucher-Eloy] N. 140, Mesopotamia ”.

Holotypus: IRAQ: “ Mesopotamia ”, s.d., Aucher-Eloy 140 ( P [ P02272615] ; iso-: G-BOIS [ G00332175 ]).

= Sisymbrium irio L. View in CoL , Sp. Pl.: 659. 1753.

Note. – The above specimen in G-BOIS is a fragmentary material consisting of a leaf and part of inflorescence taken from the unicate P 02272615 that Boissier annotated and which should be considered as the holotype (see BOISSIER, 1841a).
