• 35°59.0′N, 121°30.0′W / 35°59′N, 121°30′W; 0 m bsl: [FAO77] USA, California State, Monterey County, Los Padres National Forest, Mill Creek Picnic Area, Big Sur coastline, 15–30 cm deep in sand, sand. Pollock (1989)

Sea of Japan:

• 37°10′N, 129°21′E; 0 m bsl: [FAO61] South Korea, Gangwon Province, Youngduk, Hosan, intertidal or shallow sublittoral zone, sand or shell gravel. Rho et al. (1999)

Record numbers (FAO classification): FAO61: 1, FAO67:1, FAO77: 1; total: 3. Remarks: This rare species is known from three intertidal localities (Pacific coast of USA and South Korean Sea of Japan) to a depth of 60 cm in sand.
