Indian Ocean:
• 12°59′06S, 45°42′05E/ 12°59′S, 45°42′E; 3400 m bsl: [FAO51] Type Locality: Mozambique Channel, black volcanic sand with pumice. Renaud-Mornant (1987a)
Record numbers (Sea/Ocean classification): Atlantic Ocean: 1, Indian Ocean: 1; total: 2. Record numbers (FAO classification): FAO31: 1 FAO51: 1; total: 2. Remarks: Like all Coronarctus taxa, this is a deep sea/abyssal species known from the type locality and more recently from an unidentified locality in the Gulf of Mexico.
