Key to the species of Heleocoris of Thailand

1. Lateral margin of head shallowly concave ( Fig. 3 ). Lateral margin of hemelytron markedly indented at distal end of embolium ( Fig. 3 ). Metaxyphus much longer than wide ( Fig. 7 ). 1'. Lateral margin of head convex ( Figs. 1, 2, 4 ). Lateral margin of embolium continuous with corium ( Figs. 1, 2, 4 ). Metaxyphus about as long as wide, or only slightly longer ( Figs. 5, 6, 8 ). 3. Metaxyphus with stout spines ( Fig. 8 ). Posterior margin of head with brown punctures separated ( Fig. 4 ). Pronotum with scattered brown punctures. Ventral laterotergites II–VII each dark anteriorly, light posteriorly. Length <7.5 mm ............................................................................................ 3'. Metaxyphus without stout spines, although fine setae might be present ( Fig. 5 ). Posterior margin of head with brown punctures coalescent ( Fig. 1 ). Pronotum with dense brown punctation.
