The holotype is deposited in NMPC:

[p] 1433 [hw] / Mus. Nat. Pragae [p, orange label] // Geno- [hw] / HOLOTYPE [p] / Pondocoris / n.gen. [hw] / HEISS&JACOBS 1989 [p, red label]’. (Specimen card-mounted; metathorax with pinhole after previous pinning; left antenna, left fore leg, and right antennal segments III and IV missing, left middle and hind leg and right fore leg with only basal tarsal segment preserved.)

Current status. Valid species: Pondocoris latebrosus (Hoberlandt, 1959) (see HEISS & JACOBS 1989, KORMILEV & FROESCHNER 1987).
