hagmanni View in CoL Costa Lima, Seabra & Hathaway, 1951: 377; Apiomerus View in CoL ( Fig. 26 View FIGURES 25 – 36 ) Present status: Apiomerus luctuosus View in CoL Costa Lima, Seabra & Hathaway, 1951; synonymized by Gil-Santana et al. (2006: 216)
Female (n° 4840); Brazil: Amazonas, Borba, Rio Madeira , Guajará; A. Parko col., VIII-1943.
Correction: Costa Lima et al. (1951) designated the holotype of A. hagmanni and mentioned two additional female specimens that “seemed” to belong to this species and “maybe” another one from the “Belgium Royal Museum”. Specimen n° 4840 cited above is one of the two additional females and was considered a paratype by Almeida et al. (2014). However, ICZN (1999, Article 72.4.1) states that specimens doubtfully attributed to a taxon are not part of the type series. Therefore, this female specimen cannot be considered a paratype.
