Present status: Microtomus tibialis Stichel, 1926 ; synonymized by Coscarón et al. (2003: 2) Holotype female (n° 2194); Brazil: Minas Gerais, Lassance; R. Pereira col., VI-1935. Note: Almeida et al. (2014) mentioned that the collector of this specimen was “Aroeira”, when the correct name is “R. Pereira”.
