Diagnosis. Naddia taiwanensis can be easily distinguished from other members of Naddia Fauvel, 1867 in Taiwan by its elytra, which are entirely covered with orange-red pubescence.

Bionomics. Many specimens of N. taiwanensis were collected by Malaise trap from middle elevation mountainous forests. Shibata (1979) reported the types series of N. taiwanensis were collected under a dead tree or from fallen leaves on the forest ground.

Distribution. Naddia taiwanensis is only known from Taiwan but is widespread on the island. The species is at present known from Nantou County, New Taipei City, Pingtung County, Taipei City, and Taoyuan City ( Shibata, 1979, this study), and is presumably distributed in mountainous areas of the entire island.
