Remarks: This common, pantropical, anthropochoric species is also known from various parts of India. It is often placed in the monotypic genus Asiomorpha Verhoeff, 1939 (e.g. Nguyen & Sierwald 2013), but we follow Likhitrakarn et al. ’s (2011) revision of Orthomorpha .
