Notonecta (Notonecta) glauca glauca Linnaeus View in CoL : Csabai et al. (2017: 56). Misidentification.

Material examined. CORFU: “35. ponds with open water (Poulades) | 2010.04.27.”, 6 ♀♀ ( Csabai et al. 2017).

Remarks. The specimens are all newly moulted adult females. This species was already known from Corfu; it was recorded by Paganetti-Hummler (1907) as Notonecta glauca L. v. marginata Müll. , by Lindberg (1922) as N. glauca var. furcata , and by Zimmermann (1982) as N. meridionalis (see Hungerford 1934 for complete synonymies).
