Type. INDIA. Not located .
Remarks. Gorham described an 8 mm long species with pale pronotum having a median dark marking, black mesoscutellum and reddish elytra with dark apices. It is possible this species could belong in Abscondita ( Abs promelaena has a black mesoscutellum).
