Material examined. One male (cl. 10.6 mm), 2 ovigerous females (cl 10.9– 8.6 mm) Timor Sea (14°36.88'S, 121°19.65'E – 14°36.25'S, 121°20.73'E), 698–705 m, 3 Jul 2007 (stn SS05/2007 147), CSIRO acquisition number 0 63, NMV J56124 View Materials . 1 male (cl 10 mm) (16°44.28'S, 119°15.03'E – 16°43.8'S, 119°15.48'E), 693–698 m, 17 Jun 2007 (stn SS05/2007 70), CSIRO acquisition number 0 38, NMV J57248 View Materials .

Colour. Pale pink with fine speckled orange dots. Red intestinal tract observable through carapace. Distribution. Madagascar, Macassar Strait, Molucca Sea, north-western Australia, 450–1200 m. Remarks. This material agrees with the original description of material from the Molucca Sea, Indonesia (Baba, 1988). This is the first record of this species for Australia.
