Remarks. Described by Enderlein from the State of Espírito Santo, it occurs also in Rio de Janeiro ( Jewett 1960) and in São Paulo and Minas Gerais states ( Froehlich 1984). In the Campos do Jordão area it was collected in Eugênio Lefèvre, on the southern slope of the mountains at an altitude of 1200 m, but not on the plateau. The putative female of K. tamoya ( Froehlich 1984, figs. 29–31) belongs, in fact, to this species, a species that shows some variation in the shape of the female subgenital plate.
In contrast, the female taken as belonging to K. gracilenta ( Froehlich 1984, Figs. 1–3 View FIGURE 1 – 3 ) belongs to K. tamoya .
