Bythitidae indet.
These otoliths have a shorter, higher and thicker shape than those of typical slender and elongate Tortonian Grammonus bassolii ( Nolf, 1980) (see Fig. 9H View Fig ). Their features only suggest bythitid otoliths, which in most cases possess generalised characteristics such as an elliptic outline with an elliptical sulcus. In addition, it is not certain whether the larger and the smaller specimens belong to the same taxon ( Fig. 9F and 9G View Fig , respectively).
